Iron Goddess of Mercy Tea

This delicious tea also called Tie Guanyan, and is named for the goddess that appeared to a farmer in a dream. She told him of a treasure hidden deep in a cave behind a dilapidated temple. It was a single shoot of the tea plant and he took it to grow in his field. He had proven his devotion by resurrecting her shrine and as reward for his family's hard work she gave him with this wonderful gift. He chose to name it after the most compassionate goddess. This is one of my favorite teas to drink.
